Publier une offre d\u2019emploi permet de joindre les personnes qui sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9coute du march\u00e9. Cette d\u00e9marche ne rejoint toutefois pas tous les professionnels susceptibles de correspondre au poste. Plusieurs poursuivent leur carri\u00e8re chez leur employeur actuel sans chercher activement ailleurs.<\/p>\n

Ces personnes font partie de ce que l\u2019on appelle les candidats passifs<\/a>. Elles ne sont pas n\u00e9cessairement pr\u00eates \u00e0 changer d\u2019emploi, mais certaines accepteront d\u2019\u00e9couter une opportunit\u00e9 qui cadre avec leur exp\u00e9rience et leurs objectifs professionnels.<\/p>\n

Pour un employeur, l\u2019approche directe offre donc une fa\u00e7on d\u2019\u00e9largir la recherche. Sa pertinence repose toutefois sur un mandat bien d\u00e9fini et une prise de contact suffisamment pr\u00e9cise pour ouvrir une v\u00e9ritable discussion.<\/p>\n

\u00catre candidat passif, qu\u2019est-ce que cela signifie ?<\/h2>\n

L\u2019expression d\u00e9crit la situation d\u2019une personne sur le march\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi. Un candidat passif n\u2019a pas entrepris de d\u00e9marches pour trouver un nouveau poste. Il peut \u00eatre satisfait de son emploi actuel, peu attentif aux affichages ou simplement dispos\u00e9 \u00e0 consid\u00e9rer une occasion sans en faire activement la recherche.<\/p>\n

Son statut ne dit rien sur ses comp\u00e9tences. Il ne permet pas non plus de conclure qu\u2019il souhaite quitter son employeur. C\u2019est pourquoi nous abordons chaque \u00e9change sans pr\u00e9sumer de son int\u00e9r\u00eat.<\/p>\n

Notre premi\u00e8re conversation sert \u00e0 lui pr\u00e9senter le contexte du mandat et \u00e0 conna\u00eetre ses priorit\u00e9s professionnelles. Nous pouvons alors d\u00e9terminer si une discussion plus approfondie serait utile. Cette \u00e9tape \u00e9vite de faire avancer un processus qui ne conviendrait ni au candidat ni \u00e0 l\u2019employeur.<\/p>\n

\u00c9largir la recherche tout en maintenant les m\u00eames crit\u00e8res<\/h2>\n

Pour certains mandats, les candidatures re\u00e7ues ne suffisent pas \u00e0 couvrir les besoins du poste. La difficult\u00e9 tient souvent \u00e0 la nature de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience recherch\u00e9e. Dans le cadre de nos services de recrutement en ing\u00e9nierie<\/a>, nous pouvons rechercher une personne qui conna\u00eet un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 de fabrication ou un environnement technique pr\u00e9cis. Un mandat de recrutement en logistique et transport<\/a> peut plut\u00f4t exiger une exp\u00e9rience acquise dans des op\u00e9rations comparables.<\/p>\n

Dans ce contexte, limiter la recherche aux r\u00e9ponses obtenues apr\u00e8s l\u2019affichage d\u2019un r\u00f4le r\u00e9duit le nombre de profils consid\u00e9r\u00e9s. Une offre n\u2019est vue que par une partie du march\u00e9, principalement par les personnes qui consultent d\u00e9j\u00e0 les possibilit\u00e9s d\u2019emploi. Des professionnels exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s peuvent donc poss\u00e9der le parcours recherch\u00e9 sans m\u00eame conna\u00eetre l\u2019existence du poste.<\/p>\n

Nous utilisons l\u2019approche directe pour rep\u00e9rer ces personnes et v\u00e9rifier si le mandat pourrait les int\u00e9resser. Cette d\u00e9marche ne leur accorde aucun avantage dans l\u2019\u00e9valuation. Qu\u2019un candidat ait postul\u00e9 ou que nous ayons communiqu\u00e9 avec lui, nous examinons son exp\u00e9rience \u00e0 partir des responsabilit\u00e9s \u00e0 assumer et des crit\u00e8res d\u00e9finis avec l\u2019employeur.<\/p>\n

Comment \u00e9valuons-nous l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat et la pertinence d\u2019un profil?<\/h2>\n

Une r\u00e9ponse positive au premier contact indique seulement que la personne accepte d\u2019en apprendre davantage. Elle ne confirme pas encore qu\u2019elle repr\u00e9sente le bon choix pour l\u2019employeur.<\/p>\n

Nous poursuivons donc avec une entrevue. Cette discussion nous permet de revenir sur les fonctions exerc\u00e9es et de comprendre comment l\u2019exp\u00e9rience acquise pourrait s\u2019appliquer au poste. Nous examinons \u00e9galement ce que la personne recherche dans la suite de son parcours professionnel.<\/p>\n

L\u2019employeur re\u00e7oit ainsi une information plus compl\u00e8te que celle contenue dans un CV. Il peut mieux comprendre l\u2019exp\u00e9rience du candidat, les raisons de son int\u00e9r\u00eat et la pertinence de son profil pour les responsabilit\u00e9s \u00e0 confier.<\/p>\n
