Our clients, a leader in the Brewing Industry is looking for an Industrial Electrician to join their team.

Role Summary: The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for on shift calls to troubleshoot, repair, and assist operations.

Accountabilities:

1. Industrial electrician with 442A ticket

2. Install of new electrical systems

3. Troubleshoot and maintain equipment in a food processing plant

4. PLC experience including programing, troubleshooting

5. Provide technical expertise in all areas of maintenance and engineering with focus on electrical and controls system including PLC programming

6. Provide coaching, direction and technical knowledge transfer to packaging and maintenance operators and staff

7. Provide support to the maintenance department for the effective planning and scheduling of maintenance activities through the review of preventative maintenance routines

8. Troubleshoot production and quality issues in conjunction with maintenance and operating personnel.

9. Ensure that maintenance and quality standards are maintained at or above industry standards and follows good manufacturing practices

10. Support maintenance activities for all production equipment and facilities in a cost-effective manner to enhance the efficiency, reliability and life of equipment

11. Identification of packaging and maintenance opportunities, both operational and equipment based to improve safety, quality and cost performance

12. Maintains electrical documentation and current controls programming off plant equipment.

13. Perform duties and assignments as required by the senior management team

Qualifications

  • 2+ years related maintenance experience in an industrial environment
  • 2+ years’ experience with PLC programming & networking
  • Food or beverage or consumer packaged goods experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with diverse groups across all boundaries
  • Solid command of safety and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, often with demanding time constraints
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability

Schedule – Continental Night Shift

  • Week 1: M, T, F, Sat & Sun
  • Week 2: W & Th
  • Week 3: M, T, F, Sat & Sun
  • Week 4: W & Th

Salary: $36 – $39/hr + $4 premium for night shift + $2 premium for weekends
