Our client, a leader in the production of climatization systems for the automotive industry located in the Concord area is looking
for a talented industrial electrician to join their organization.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Debug and commission new machines and retrofits is a plus but not required
- Troubleshoot machine breakdowns in a timely manner to minimize loss of production
- To install and repair electrical equipment and wiring.
- Works from blueprints, wiring diagrams, shop orders and oral instructions and ideas
- Familiar with PLCs, AC/DC drives, HMIs, computers.
- Performs preventative maintenance on required equipment and scheduled work as required
- Examines and repairs high-voltage electrical equipment when required for continuous plant operation
- Makes minor adjustments to and lubricates tools and equipment used
- Maintains inventory of electrical supplies and equipment and requisitions same, as necessary. Installs, dismantles, examines, repairs, reconditions and re-installs electrical supplies and equipment such as motors, switch gear, transformers, communication systems, clocks, instrumentation, motor generator sets, inverters, electrical furnace systems, etc
- Assist millwrights troubleshoot machine breakdowns
- Ongoing production and maintenance support
- To install and repair electrical equipment and wiring.
- Observes all safety rules and maintains an orderly workplace
- Ability to work overtime as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a Licensed Electrician 442A or 309A
- 5-10 years of experience working on a manufacturing environment
- Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced team environment;
HARD SKILLS
- Partial programming – add to, remove or modify programs already in machines that are running while minimizing lost production
- Proficient with Allen Bradley Logix 500/5000.
- Ability to program FactoryTalk View ME is a plus but not required
- Very good understanding of electrical drawing packages
- Excellent controls troubleshooting
- Understanding of machine safety
- Troubleshooting and maintenance on currently running machines
- Able to work in and support 24hr production-based environment

SCHEDULE
- Night Shift 11:00pm-7:00am. Overtime as required.

Education: A college or trade school diploma. Completion of a recognized
apprenticeship and possession of a valid Electrical license or equivalent
