Description

Our Client, a leader in the Brewing Industry are looking for Maintenance Supervisors.

Role Summary: Provides shift supervision, work planning, execution and follow-up, trade supervision, and contractor management as well as planning and execution of small CAPEX projects.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide zone leadership and direction to maintenance groups to optimize their effectiveness, efficiency, and results while ensuring compliance to established policies and procedures with a focus on the bottling and canning lines
  • Provide technical expertise in all areas of Maintenance and Engineering.
  • Provide technical expertise as well as leadership with respect to machine and line controls for the Packaging Lines.
  • Ensure that maintenance and quality standards are maintained at or above industry standards
  • Drive business goals such as equipment reliability and quality improvements and cost reduction to ensure that they are adequately measured, managed, and achieved.
  • Manage maintenance activities for all production equipment and facilities in a cost-effective manner to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and life of the equipment.
  • Manage the execution of assigned projects to deliver improvements to the business within defined budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Implementation of best maintenance practices across the operations function.
  • Safety performance and other compliance requirements.
  • Management and delivery of maintenance variable and fixed costs to budget and cost reduction targets.
  • Manage the Maintenance systems by way of a robust planning and scheduling process. Maintain short and long-term schedules. Manage regular overhauls on the equipment as required for the packaging equipment.
  • Project execution within agreed schedules and budgets
  • Identification of packaging and maintenance opportunities, both operational and equipment based to improve safety, quality, cost performance
  • Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to improve operational reliability, quality, and efficiency
  • Provide coaching, direction, and technical knowledge transfer to operators and staff

Qualifications:

  • Trades experience (Millwright or Electrician)
  • Experienced maintenance supervisor (3 years minimum)
  • Consumer packaging industry experience preferred
  • Experience in Assembly Line Manufacturing
