Our multi-site food processing client is looking for an infrastructure project manager to join its team. Here are the tasks related to this position:Responsibilities
- Maintain and execute the real estate master plan.
- Participate in the completion of major projects within established deadlines, budgets and returns on investment.
- Edit technical specifications and bid requests in accordance with the organization’s criteria and standards.
- Develop, plan and coordinate project execution schedules, ensuring cost tracking to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Coordinate work with subcontractors and operations, and oversee its completion in compliance with HACCP and health and safety standards.
- Supervise the team of corporate industrial draftsmen.
- Assure the updating of the various plans of our different sites and plants.
- Be responsible for the inspection of infrastructure and documentation.
- Keep abreast of new technological developments and propose improvements to standards.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering or other relevant training.
- Have 5 to 10 years’ experience in similar roles (a different but deemed equivalent combination of training and experience will also be considered).
- Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
- Experience in the food sector will be considered a strong asset.
- PMP PMI certification (an asset).
- Have knowledge in the fields of building, fixed machinery mechanics and electricity.
- Demonstrate knowledge of occupational health and safety (an asset).
- Maintain an advanced level of English.
- Be solution-oriented and enjoy challenges.
- Demonstrate rigor, structure and listening skills in the performance of work.
- Have good decision-making skills.
- Possess good oral and written communication skills with customers, management and colleagues.
