Purchasing clerk

Our customer specializing in the sale and installation of flooring is looking for a purchasing clerk to join its team.Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the clerk’s responsibilities will include:
  • Ordering various materials from suppliers
  • Following up with these suppliers to ensure that materials are received on time
  • Following up with sales consultants
  • Ensuring the accuracy of materials ordered, prices, quantities
  • Validating the proper receipt of materials
  • Working in collaboration with various company departments
Profile good command of the offices suite and computer skills-Knowledge of the construction industry an asset-Good understanding of English (bilingualism would be an asset)-Favors teamwork-Positive attitude-Multi-tasking-Ability to work under pressure and excellent stress management Contractual informationContractual position- maternity leave replacement with strong possibility of standby dutiesFull-time day shift- 40 h per weekInsurances
