Senior Corporate Insurance Broker

In an environment that promotes diversity and recognizes entrepreneurial spirit, and under the supervision of the Director of Operations, our client is seeking a Senior Corporate Insurance Broker. The responsibilities of this position will be to advise clients on products from various insurance companies to meet their service and sales needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather necessary information to understand client needs;
  • Analyze information to offer the insurance product that suits the client’s needs;
  • Explain the characteristics of offered products in simple terms;
  • Conduct marketing activities;
  • Negotiate with insurers;
  • Take responsibility for contract modifications and renewals;
  • Provide quality customer service in collaboration with a portfolio manager;
  • Respond to various requests from insured parties and insurers;
  • Review contracts;
  • Follow insurer standards regarding risk quality and underwriting policies.

Profile:

  • DEC or AEC in Property and Casualty Insurance
  • 4 years of experience in business property and casualty insurance
  • Hold a business property and casualty insurance broker license issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook software
  • Proficiency in TAM, EPIC, Policy Works software will be considered an asset
  • Bilingual (French/English) oral and written
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
  • Ability to work independently and professionally as part of a team
  • Sense of responsibility and problem-solving skills

Contract Information:

  • Full-time, permanent position (35 hours/week)
