Help Desk IT Administrator

Our client, a leader in advertising and out of home is looking for a talented Help Desk Administrator to join their team in Mississauga.

Job Information:

The Help Desk Administrator – Level 2 will provide a combination of tier 2 level support for end users. This role will be suitable for someone who is interested in learning new technologies and is looking to grow their technical skill set. Emphasis will be primarily in top notch customer service with a wide range of technical skills to ensure the end user has the best experience possible.  Salary range is dependent on knowledge.

 

What you’ll do…

  • End user support (OS Windows 11, Office 365)
  • Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
  • Installing and configuring software& hardware on the client laptops and reimaging new systems
  • Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
  • Set up employee accounts and workstations
  • Basic network troubleshooting

 

Who you are…

  • 3-5 years minimum work experience in a large network
  • Knowledge of O/S Windows 11 & Office 365
  • Knowledge of Cisco switches  (basic)
  • A keen propensity towards security a must
  • Knowledge of Cisco VOIP considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL considered an asset
  • Knowledge of MS Dynamics considered an asset
  • Willingness to learn and must be an independent learner
  • MUST have good communication skills and good command of the English language
  • MUST have good customer service skills
  • Ability to work well with others and follow instructions
