Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Under the supervision of the Technical Advisor, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of the company’s equipment. You will identify failures using diagnostic equipment and ensure the proper functioning of the repaired equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately diagnose failures using control equipment;
  • Repair defective components of tankers;
  • Perform general mechanical maintenance on trucks and tankers (tire changes, brake maintenance, lubrication, etc.);
  • Maintain the electrical and electronic systems of tankers;
  • Diagnose and repair defective parts or systems (electrical, electronic, etc.);
  • Ensure the proper functioning of repaired systems.

Profile

  • Degree in heavy vehicle mechanics, diesel, diagnostic;
  • 0 to 10 years of experience in heavy vehicle mechanics;
  • Knowledge in tanker mechanics (an asset);
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English and French);
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Strong problem-solving skills;
  • Autonomy, organizational skills, and team spirit.
