One of our customers on the south shore of Quebec City is looking for a payables technician in the construction sector.

Your responsibilities:

• Check purchase orders;
• Match invoices with purchase orders;
• Enter and code according to projects/activities invoices in the accounting system and have them approved by the project manager;
• Check payment terms;
• Validate information on invoices and credit requests;
• Validate and print list of checks according to payment terms and policies;
• Print checks according to approved list on required dates and add relevant documents;
• Classify invoices, after processing;
• Receive and enter expense accounts into accounting system;
• Prepare list of payments for approval .

Profile

• DEP in, accounting or other relevant field*;
• 2 years’ experience in accounts payable (high volume) in the construction industry;
• Good knowledge of the Office suite;
• Good oral and written communication skills;
• Ability to manage priorities and plan work.
