Are you passionate about building structure design and want to grow in a dynamic environment? We’re looking for a building structure technician with consulting engineering experience to join our team in Laval.

You’ll be actively involved in the design of residential, commercial and institutional projects, in both the public (schools, hospitals, municipal buildings, swimming pools, etc.) and private sectors. You’ll also contribute to asset maintenance projects, including renovations and expansions.

• Design steel, concrete or wood structures.
• Prepare tender drawings in collaboration with the engineer in charge.
• Develop drawings, plans and diagrams from sketches, calculations and specifications.
• Produce computer-aided drawings (plans, elevations, sections, construction details).
• Perform 3D modeling.
• Conduct surveys and provide partial site supervision.
• Apply established drawing standards.
• Check and correct drawings to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to find suitable solutions.
• Participate in project meetings.

• DEC in civil engineering or equivalent training.
• 2 to 5 years’ experience in consulting engineering.
• Excellent knowledge of standards and codes applicable in Quebec.
• Mastery of AutoCAD (Revit is an asset).
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and work as part of a team.
• Excellent command of written and spoken French; English is an asset.
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
