Description

Our client, a leader in the HVAC industry is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join their team.

What a typical day look like for a Sales Representative:

  • Build pipeline, generate leads and execute performance to ensure achievement
    across target goals.
  • Proactively contact existing customers regarding pending projects, quotes and future orders.
  • Contact and visit prospective customers to introduce the company, our products,
    services and strengths.
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitor products and prices.
  • Present, promote and sell products over the phone and through email.
  • Directly manage multiple accounts ensuring excellence in execution and service.
  • Prospect call preparation including company background research and other pertinent lead information.
  • Provide quotes to customers and feedback to the company.
  • Identify customer’s buying trends and provide reports to management.
  • Enter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads, prospects, and opportunities.
  • Meet monthly sales objectives.

· Perform additional assignments and duties as required.

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years of sales/marketing experience.
  • Post-secondary education within HVAC, sales or marketing
  • Good technical knowledge in HVAC.
  • Have the ability to adapt to change easily.
  • Positive and professional attitude to close big deals, and at times work outside of office hours.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills as demonstrated by an ability to handle multiple priorities,
  • problem solve, and meet tight deadlines and targets.
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong negotiations skills in direct sales.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Some overnight travel is required within Canada and US.
  • Ability to travel daily to customers sites.

· Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driver’s record.

Schedule: 70% in office, 30% on the road

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 +
