OpTalent, a fast growing recruitment
agency specialized in the manufacturing & skilled trade industry, is
looking for a recruiter to join our operations, to develop and increase our
presence in the Ontario market. In March
2018, we opened our first office in Montreal with great success, and last year
we opened another office in Quebec City with great success. We are now in the process of opening an
office in the GTA, Etobicoke region.

The successful candidate is looking
for a career opportunity to grow, with HR aspirations/experience as the office
will expand very fast in the short term. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneur, not afraid to try new things and
is very serious about her/his career as sky is the limit.

Main responsibilities include:

The person will be responsible for
the entire recruitment process: Job
postings, telephone interviews, head hunting, communication with clients etc. As we are just opening the office, the ideal
candidate will also be involved with social media, sales, marketing, strategy,
business development. This is an ideal
position to learn a lot about the corporate world with a growing company

· Write all job posting on our web
site and Job portal sites’

  • You will manage the entire recruitment cycle: posting,
    resume preselection, telephone interviews and building strong
    relationships with hiring managers.
  • Ability to handle a high requisition load, maintain
    constant and clear communication and develop creative, effective
    recruiting strategies is key.
  • Elaborate sourcing strategies to build a talent
    pipeline in order to anticipate the needs, and fill the needs.
  • Actively promoting OpTalent’s services
  • Responsible
    for business development of the Ontario market. You will maintain the client’s and
    Candidate’s databases.
  • Actively promoting OpTalent’s
    services through social media, participation in professional associations,
    trade shows, and other public relations opportunities.
  • Advising clients on staffing
  • Work in conjunction with your team members to execute a
    seamless and successful recruitment process ensuring high quality of hire.
  • You are a skilled head-hunter and have a proven track
    record for finding best in class candidates.
  • Track and report key recruitment metrics

Required &
preferred experience

  • Previous experience managing a high volume recruitment
    in a search firm would be considered a huge asset
  • High energy, hands on, strategic thinker, you are a
    doer and gets things done
  • Team player to join our recruitment family
  • LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecuiter and Zoho platform
    experience would be considered a strong asset
  • A completed College or University degree or relevant
    work experience.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) to be a strong asset.
  • Experience in manufacturing and skilled trade to be an
  • Social Media experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite efficiency
  • Good oral and written skills are very important
