Our client, a leader in outdoor advertising is looking for a Sales Lease Representative to join their team.

Job Information:
The ideal candidate will participate in the management of lease portfolio with a focus on identifying and developing key strategic business opportunities to grow traditional and digital Out-Of-Home advertising inventory within the
Toronto CMA and Southwestern Ontario markets. Building client relationships with prospective, existing and dormant accounts, to generate new business and maximize revenue though proactive contact and regular follow-up.
What you’ll do…

  • Prepare and negotiate lease agreements with property owners to secure new or existing inventory
  • Responsible for the renewal of existing lease agreements with a focus on inventory maintenance and customer service
  • Administer all aspects of the lease cycle including budgeting, site selection, contract negotiation and sign installation
  • Enter, maintain and routinely audit data, reports and electronic files to ensure accurate accounting, record keeping and file management
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships, both internally and externally
  • Develop a knowledge of government regulations, policies and procedures required for outdoor advertising
  • Liaise with various internal departments to gather and distribute information and ensure necessary approvals, standards and timelines are being adhered to
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned or requested by the Leasing Manager

Who you are …

  • University or college degree or related work experience
  • Basic familiarity with real estate principles and practices with an emphasis on field work including lead generation, negotiations and application of regulations
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Cooperative and professional manner when interacting with internal and external stakeholders
  • Sense of urgency
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities to meet deadlines
  • Routine work outside of office conducting site meetings and performing field work, etc.
  • Valid drivers’ license
  • Proficient in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint)
  • Some overnight travel may be required
