Our clients needs an experienced marketer to head their Natural Stone portfolio with a goal to grow the business exponentially in the next three years.

This person will be responsible for developing a comprehensive strategy to build a profitable business that delivers a steady stream of exclusive products that offer a tangible benefit over the competition. You will be required to develop a business case and secure senior management approval for each product within the line, including pricing strategies, sales objectives, COGS, marketing expenses and net profit targets. You will be expected to develop, execute, measure and refine these strategies over time.

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, you will lead our efforts to source new products, developing reliable supply chain networks and internal support systems to ensure the products achieve broad distribution in the U.S. and Canada. Gathering knowledge from internal stakeholders, external partners and customers as well as custom research methods and competitive analysis, you will develop a deep understanding of the marketplace that will equip you to tailor our Natural Stone product line to leverage emerging trends and complement existing and new concrete hardscape options.

This role will also be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to support Natural Stone. With the support of our in-house Studio and external agencies, this will include product knowledge training for our sales team, sales tools, point of sale literature and display material, digital marketing strategies and advertising plans.

Although there are currently no direct reports for this position, ideally you will have managed a team in the past so that you are ready to move to the next level when the opportunity presents itself. You will also need:

· Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Commerce or Economics.

· Minimum 5-10 years’ experience working in Consumer Packaged Goods marketing for a global company.

· Passionate about new products and claims development with a proven track record of success in developing and executing product launch plans.

· A strong bias for action and a hands-on approach to execution

· Collaborative approach to problem solving and experience leading large-scale projects with cross functional teams in a matrix environment.

· Aptitude for absorbing technical information and an outstanding attention to detail.

· Proven project management skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with excellence.
