Our client, a leader in the packaging extrusion industry is looking for a Flexographic Print Operator to join their team in Brampton. This is a full-time permanent night-shift position. Your primary responsibility will be to operate a brand-new flexographic printing press for a high volume packaging company in a team environment.
Objectives:
· Setup jobs and operate 10 colour flexo press, adjust machine based on job specification
· Achieve company and client quality expectations
· Meet and respect productivity and quality standards
· Maintain equipment to ensure high quality printing
· Strong sense of urgency and ability to work on a tight timeline
· Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills are required
· Collaborate with Press Assistants to provide supplies, perform changeovers and cleaning, as required.
Qualifications
· Minimum of 3 years’ printing experience (Windmoller & Holscher is huge asset)
· Water-based and/or solvent-based ink handling experience
· Comfortable with measurements in imperial and metric systems
· Mechanically inclined and a logical thinker
· Able to work in a fast-past team environment
Hours: 11pm to 7am
