Our client, a leader in plastic thermoforming packaging is looking for a plant manager to oversee their plant operations. The ideal candidate will be in training for a period of 6-12 months with the current plant manager who will retire in the near future.
The ideal candidate is somebody that has plant management experience, that has respect from his employees, firm and that has very strong business senses to increase profitability.
Responsibilities:
Plant Manager is Responsible for;
1. Safe operation of the plant and its personnel.
2. Implement procedures to comply with regulations
2. Quality of process, and its products and ISO 9001-2015 management
3. Efficient Operation of the equipment and personnel.
4. Production Scheduling and machine loading.
5. Ensuring Training and scheduling and manning of manufacturing staff to fit needs
6. Plant measurable, setup time, downtime, scrap is monitored.

8. Training Matrix for Manufacturing Personnel
9. Assist in plant daily activities
Authority:
1. Schedule personnel, and equipment with liaison with C/S
2. Coordinate the ordering of supplies in liaison with Office manager and C/S
3. Change Personnel Operational schedules as deemed as necessitated by demand.
4. Make recommendations to management team on various issues from planning to implementation.
External Qualifications:
- Management Training or experience
- Applicable training modules as required by regulatory bodies
- Thermoforming Experience

- Experience in managing personnel and plant
- Safety training in various related Safety equipment
- Production Planning
