Buyer – Supply Chain Management

We are looking for a structured, meticulous, and collaborative individual to fill a key position within our team in Warwick.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire procurement process, from price requests to purchase order tracking;
  • Search for new potential suppliers and evaluate the competitiveness of received offers;
  • Negotiate purchasing conditions and perform cost analyses to optimize procurement decisions;
  • Ensure rigorous inventory tracking to maintain adequate levels to support production;
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with supplier partners;
  • Evaluate supplier performance and intervene in case of issues;
  • Work closely with internal departments (production, quality, finance) to coordinate needs;
  • Keep procurement data up to date in the ERP system;
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement of purchasing processes and inventory management.

Profile:

  • College or university education in a relevant discipline;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing environment;
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel;
  • Knowledge of an ERP system (ideally Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC) is a significant asset;
  • Functional bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with efficiency;
  • Methodical approach and exemplary rigor;
  • Collaborative attitude and high professionalism in interdepartmental interactions;

Contractual Information:

  • Permanent full-time position – 40 hours per week;
