We are looking for a civil engineering project manager to supervise and coordinate a variety of projects in the institutional, residential and commercial sectors, for both public and private clients.Your role
You will be responsible for the design and management of municipal infrastructure projects (roads, sewer and water systems, drainage, parking lots, new street construction, etc.), in collaboration with a team of engineers, technicians and draftsmen. You will ensure technical coordination, supervision and monitoring of budgets and schedules.
Your responsibilities- Lead a team in project design and supervision.
- Design municipal infrastructure and carry out hydraulic calculations.
- Supervise and approve design work and cost estimates.
- Ensure technical coordination with customers and various stakeholders.
- Manage supervision and technical monitoring of projects in the construction phase.
- Participate in site meetings and lead technical meetings.
- Plan, organize and evaluate the team’s work.
- Assure budget tracking and schedule management.
- Manage projects in complex urbanized environments with high technical stakes.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) for at least 5 years.
- Significant experience in municipal engineering project management (design and supervision).
- Excellent command of standards and codes applicable in Quebec.
- ASP certification in health and safety on construction sites.
- Solid communication skills and ability to represent the company to customers.
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and work as part of a team.
- Experience in stormwater management, infrastructure, lighting, traffic lights, traffic maintenance (an asset).
- Knowledge of PCSWMM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Proficiency in spoken and written French; English is an asset.
