Job Offer: Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a qualified individual as a Maintenance Supervisor to join our client’s team.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure effective management of all plant equipment, including refrigeration systems, industrial ovens, and automated production lines.
  • Organize and monitor the maintenance schedule using INTERAL for all processing equipment.
  • Ensure all processing equipment is functional and free from sources of contamination.
  • Implement improvements to manufacturing facilities, including construction materials.
  • Manage spare parts and other P/L connections.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to adjusting, repairing, and maintaining processing equipment in all departments.
  • Oversee plant sanitation, including internal and external housekeeping.
  • Follow control points outlined in the preventive maintenance program for equipment.
  • Plan and coordinate preventive repairs with the internal team and external contractors according to the maintenance schedule (Interal).
  • In collaboration with the HACCP-SQF coordinator, follow the daily maintenance program to ensure all machines are operational and free from contamination.
  • Ensure product quality and safety according to regulatory requirements during maintenance tasks.
  • Document each equipment inspection.
  • Verify the safety of fire equipment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement new computerized maintenance management software (CMMS).
  • Ensure equipment startup each morning, including departments for Skewers, Meat Cutting, Cooking, and Packaging.
  • Apply the lockout program and train supervisors and team leaders on the floor.
  • Take initiative and demonstrate good conduct.
  • Order missing or defective parts for plant equipment and manage their return.
  • Participate in special projects.
  • Replace key personnel as needed.
Profile Skills and Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree or DEC in Industrial Engineering or DEP in Electromechanics.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the food industry.
  • Bilingual (French, English).
  • No allergic reactions or food restrictions.
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards and hygiene policies.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Must own a vehicle.
