Human Resources Coordinator
Do you have strong organizational skills, solid administrative rigor, and excellent interpersonal skills? This role will place you at the heart of the action! Under the supervision of the administrative management, you will be responsible for coordinating human resources activities while providing strategic and operational support in financial, communication, and organizational areas. You will also oversee a committed and multidisciplinary administrative team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the recruitment process: interview frameworks, staffing, contract signing.
- Ensure administrative follow-up of employment contracts (researchers, professionals, students, etc.).
- Manage student scholarships and ensure compliance with the rules governing their allocation.
- Provide overall HR support and ensure compliance with current policies.
- Assist with budget planning and monitoring operating expenses.
- Support researchers in managing the financial aspects of their research projects.
- Prepare expense reports and ensure sound management of bank accounts.
- Apply financial and regulatory standards in effect.
- Supervise an administrative team of about eight people.
- Promote collaboration between departments and structure internal communications.
- Implement and optimize administrative procedures.
- Organize meetings and ensure proper follow-up.
- Draft personalized communications for different teams.
- Ensure smooth information flow and adherence to deadlines.
- Assist in coordinating communications between services.
Profile:
- University degree in human resources, industrial relations, administration, or a related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel and SharePoint.
- Excellent command of written and spoken French; functional English required.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel usage.
- Good knowledge of administrative and financial processes.
- Experience with ERP software and HR management tools (asset).

Contractual Information:
- One-year contract with possibility of renewal.
- 35-hour weekly schedule.
- Salary based on experience ($28 to $48/hour).
- Minimum of three weeks of vacation, paid holidays, and sick leave.
