Quality control supervisor

2 years minimum experience in agri-food – $65,000 to $70,000 /year

Our client in Saint-Laurent specializing in the agri-food sector is looking for a Quality Assurance Supervisor to ensure compliance with processes and standards established for various product lines.                                                                                                                                   Responsibilities

–       Assists in the determination of strategies and implementation of appropriate plans to improve quality, efficiency and service levels by helping to create a highly competent service focused on meeting high quality and performance standards performance;

–     Assisting in the the development and implementation of appropriate processes and procedures to ensure that required documentation is properly completed and maintained in accordance with the standards of government agencies and regulatory regulatory bodies;

–     Participate in the developing and implementing validation strategies for new product launches new product launches, with the aim of delivering quality products to market be brought to market quickly ;

–     Ensures compliance with validation requirements validation requirements according to Canadian and international standards (SQF, CFIA, Halal, etc.);

–     Co-implement, organizes and manages the change validation and control committee ;

–     Provides technical expertise, troubleshooting technical expertise, troubleshooting, and problem solving as required ;

Profile

                         Skills and aptitudes

–     College or university diploma in food science, food engineering or related field;

–     2 years'experience in processing or a similar role in the food industry;

–      2 years'experience in the GFSI programs GFSI (SQF, FSSC 2000, BRC);

–      Familiar with CFIA requirements and guidelines of CFIA, USDA, HACCP ;

–     Must own a car ;

–     Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
