Accounting technician

For one of our customers operating in the leisure sector, we are looking for an accounting technician with experience in the full accounting cycle.

Job description

Under the responsibility of the controller you will have as tasks:

• Analyze all general ledger items
• Reconcile tips and tills daily with day-end closing sheets and sales report
• Audit packages
• Analyze payroll and costs
• Do payroll
• Record invoices from'purchases and issue checks
• Make deposits
• Perform the complete accounting cycle (accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, fixed assets etc.)

ProfilePosition requirements

• DEC or BAC in accounting
• Experience of 3 years or more in a similar position
• Sense of attention to detail and thoroughness

• Learning to use the Office suite and Sage accounting software will be an asset
