The hardscape industry is both exciting and dynamic, and our client is expanding their Trade Marketing team. The Manager, Trade Marketing Content role offers a unique opportunity for the right candidate to be part of a leading hardscape company and influence the next generation of hardscape contractors. The primary responsibility of the Manager, Trade Marketing Content is to bridge the gap between the complexity of products and the simplicity of understanding for the contractor audience. This role involves crafting and executing a go-to-market strategy that ensures our client is recognized as the authority for “How to Build” digital training content in the hardscaping industry. Reporting to the Director of Residential Marketing, the successful candidate will work with five regional operations to uncover the latest installation best practices and turn that knowledge into compelling, educational digital training content. This content will help intercept and convert new hardscapers into sales leads. The role also involves working cross-functionally with the in-house Studio and Digital Marketing team to bring strategies and plans to life. Profil Specific Responsibilities: Establish and lead the execution of a comprehensive plan to elevate our client as the authority for “How to Build” content on YouTube and through organic and paid search. Collaborate with an external agency partner to develop compelling “How to Build” animated or live video content. Develop the technical resources go-to-market playbook for new product launches, encompassing all technical resources required by hardscape contractors to use the products. Drive the execution of technical materials for hardscapers, including project installation manuals, product-specific installation instructions, and advanced techniques. Proactively manage and elevate the content across the client’s Contractor website, including the Hardscape Education Centre, directing updates to images, blogs, articles, and gated content. Maintain relationships with current external tools and training partners and investigate strategic alliances with new prospective adjacent partners. They are innovative thinkers, unafraid to chart a path into new areas without existing processes. The candidate thrives on building consensus across the organization and has strong internal selling skills with a bias for action to deliver exceptional outcomes and results. They are motivated to lead large-scale, company-wide projects, influencing across all levels of the organization, and can pivot as needed to respond to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field. 3-5 years of experience leading the development of digital content, including live/animated video production. Experience leading creative agencies through complex, large-scale projects. Understanding of SEO, Google, YouTube, and performance analytics with a focus on continuous improvement. Enthusiasm for learning about the construction process and the ability to absorb, retain, and leverage technical information. Confidence in leading high-profile projects, keeping details organized, and ensuring all deliverables are on time. Ability to lead initiatives across a highly matrixed team. Proven ability to earn trust and influence non-direct reports. Strong communication and presentation skills. Experience in B2B and/or technical products is an asset. Frequent travel to the Corporate Office for regular meetings and across U.S. regions for training events and contractor networking.
